Ep. 1: Tina Cesa Ward - Writer, Director
In this episode of Her Process I'm chatting with writer/director, Tina Cesa Ward. I met Tina several years ago at an event for the International Academy of Web Television. She was living in New York at the time, and I was living here in Los Angeles. Over the next few years we'd see each other at various web series events and we became friendly. It wasn't until Tina relocated to Los Angeles around a year and a half ago that we had the chance to hang out more and become real friends, and now she's one of my dearest.
A bit about Tina: She, along with Susan Miller, won the first ever Writers Guild of America Award for Original New Media for her hit indie drama series, Anyone But Me. She has written a comic book, "Guards of Dagmar," which is available on Comixology. She's a huge Mets fan. She's a pescetarian.
In this episode Tina gives us a little insight into how she's always writing, even when she's not writing. We talk about the different hats she wears on her productions, labels people find themselves saddled with in the entertainment industry, her love of writing characters, and she answers the burning question, "Just how important are those lines anyway?"
I hope you have as much fun listening as we did chatting.
